Aubreyisms Part Deux
So Lisa tells Aubrey that she asks such good questions.
Naturally, Sydney, the all knowing 6 year old and sibling rival says, "That's because you don't know any of the answers, Mom."
Here's some of the latest and greatest:
1. Aubrey went over to Brad and Tara's backyard (friends/neighbors right behind us) and saw Tara putting down mulch in their flowerbed. She asked Tara what she was doing. "I'm helping Brad put down mulch." Aubrey said, "Do you always do what Brad tells you to do."
2. Last night we were driving home from daycare pick up and we say an accident on the side of the road. Aubrey said, "Daddy, those people are going to get a ticket like the lady I saw yesterday because she was driving on the elbow of the road." Yeah, you can get in lots of trouble for driving on the elbow vs the shoulder.
3. Last Friday, I was taking the girls to school and people were selling papers at the intersections to raise money for Kansas City Day, all proceeds go to a non-profit to help underprivilaged kids go to camp. Aubrey asked why those people are handing out newspapers and I told her that some kids don't have a lot of money so they were selling papers to help those kids go to camp. So Aubrey says, "I don't have a lot of money, can they give some of the money to me so I can go to camp?"
4. "Mommy I know what diarrhea is. It's just smashy poop."
