2009 In HD
We bought a 37" VIZIO HDTV LCD on New Year's Eve and let me tell you, it's very cool. When we first turned it on, the picture just looked like a bigger version of our crappy 12" bedroom TV. I forgot you have to get an HD cable box to get the HD channels. So I ran out and got the HD box, with DVR and we were all set. WOW! I wish I could have watched the KU-MU Arrowhead game on this baby. Would have made the victory even sweeter.
So I figured, if HD makes TV look this much better, why not do EVERYTHING in HD this year. Play. Work. Eat. Sleep. All in HD.
Cooked amazing steak burgers with cheese and pepper rings. HD BBQ.
New year. New garage. HD Clean.
Played on the playground with the kids today, on a 63 degree January day, doing "under dog" swing maneuvers against the blue sky. Major HD Fun.
Tonight, my Jayhawks finally beat a real top 25 opponent (Tennessee Volunteers). But I didn't watch the game live. It was on at 1pm and I DVR'd it. I got an extra 2 hours with the kids and was able to finish my livingroom and basement stairs painting. Then watched the game tonight while everyone was asleep. HD Time Management/Entertainment.
Lisa has to go back to East9 tommorrow after being off since the 19th of December. That is not in HD. But I'm going to wake up with her at 5am tomorrow and make her an HD breakfast.
Then the kids and I are going to spend all day making recipes out of their new Princess Cookbook that Chelsey bought them for Christmas. Hadley informed me that we have to make everything in the book. HD.
I wonder if Lisa will let me name the baby HD if it's a boy?
I'll get back to you on that one.
