Happy 6th of July

Where has the time gone? If anyone knows, let me know because I'm looking to get some of it back along with the missing socks. It's the day after a great 4th of July weekend and I've got the post-vacation blues. Lots of work to do and lots of to do's at home and I'd like to spend some more time with Lisa and the kids just having fun and less time getting things done on our daily list. It's easy to say just ignore the list but something is programmed into my head that the list must be done.

Okay, so here's the list of stuff we did while Aunt Melissa, Uncle Doug, Mimi and Papa were in town.

1. Went to the pool
2. Played corn hole (Doug and Scott were the champions)
3. Had great BBQ at Jackstack
4. Went on a Kaliedoscope to Freight House adventure
5. Played Wii
6. Cooked A LOT!
7. Went to Carley's Baptism
8. Rollerbladed
9. Watched Fireworks
10. Installed a new shower faucet
11. Fixed the garage door openers
12. Mulched
13. Worked way too much on work on Thursday
14. Went to Papa's place for ice cream social
15. Watched a really bad movie, "The International"
16. Installed a ceiling fan
18. Made home made ice cream
19. Watched a hot air ballon fly over our house
20. Should have gone to the farm :(

Note to self. Let's play more and work less next 4th of July weekend. :)

If it wasn't for the Bud Light Limelike Clamato beer and Carley's amazing Baptism dress makeover, things may have been a little too serious.
