The Final Fourth: Carley Ann Loewen

As a big KU Fan, this time of year is always near and dear to my heart. Especially after the 2008 National Championship run.

As a Father of three awesome girls, having another one would be just fine with me. Sydney, Aubrey and Hadley rock.

So it's March Madness again, KU is in the Sweet 16 and Lisa and I are waiting for our final Baby Loewen to come into the world. It's too surreal. One day you have three kids. Two days later you have four. Right, I'm sure most people can relate.

This time is a little different.

We actually have double outfits, books, and signs. Just in case. I don't have a goatee. Bed is on opposite side of the room. I've been eating a lot of beef jerky and I have a Superman sticker in my wallet. Just sayin...

So far here are the predictions:
Aubrey, Hadley, Mom: Girl
Sydney: Boy
Magic 8 Ball: Boy and Girl

I'm not voting. Just doesn't matter. Really.

@11:23am contractions are just under 3 minutes apart. We are updating baby status on Twitter and Facebook. Steaming the "Waiting Dad on the Couch" live video and doing blog updates throughout the day.

Ta da! She's here. At 1:59pm, Carley Ann Loewen was welcomed into the world by all.

She was very excited to be with us and I'm sure she'll be our good luck baby for The Big Dance this weekend.

Tonight she is at the hospital with Lisa and the other girls are home with dear old Dad. Aubrey, Hadley and I are having a sleep over. They miss Mom. :) (and Carley says Miss Aubrey)

Thanks to everyone for making today such a great day. The love and support was amazing and Miss Lisa is definitely a super hero. Even though my Superman sticker didn't help bring on a boy. It sure helped bring home another healthy and beautiful daughter.

And I guess I knew all along that another daugher was on the way. Her theme song was "Daughters" by John Mayer. I had a hunch.

Thanks again and enjoy the photos!
